Using Veterans Affairs (VA) Benefits for Home Care

LTC@Home is a leader in providing home care services to veterans and their surviving spouses. The Veterans Administration has many programs to assist aging veterans. From regular medical care to the Veterans Nursing Homes, the VA provides many resources to veterans. For low income veterans and their surviving spouses, the VA has the Aid and Attendance Pension. This pension will reimburse veterans and their surviving spouses for the cost of home care based upon the veteran’s war time service, medical need, assets and income.

How do you qualify for VA Benefits?

If you are a Veteran or the surviving spouse of a Veteran who served at least 90 days of active duty with 1 day during a period of war, you may be eligible for this non-service connected pension benefit.
